“The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
He leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.”
(Psalm 23:1-3a)
God, my shepherd!
I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.
Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid when you walk at my side.
Stopping by for your post. Another awesome one honey! I love reading your blog!
Love, Patty
Sharon, I'm guessing this version of the 23rd Psalm is from the Message. Powerful! So funny, I had this psalm on my mind the last few days–God has been carrying me in peaceful places in the midst of challenging days and a season of dying–to myself 🙂
