Love is patient and kind.
Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.
Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others.
Love does not count up wrongs that have been done.
Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth.
Love patiently accepts all things.
It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures.
Love never ends.

I've always desired to be a good "lover"… when I read this chapter, I always see more and more of where I'm missing the perfection. I AM blessed that HE is perfect and will forgive and teach and bless me.
Thank God for Love! He is Love and we need more of Him so that we can love more perfectly. Praying that His awesome love will lift you and encourage your soul.
Blessings

Always good to remember. Doesn't it seem that the longer one is married, the more they understand this.

Absolutely lovely!
Always good to review what true love is all about. This is one of the first chapters I memorized as a child. I remember it still. Much harder to memorize now so I'm thankful for each one learned as a child.
Oh, I love the tea cup picture you linked up with. 🙂
Thank you for the reminder of what love is – perfect and God-ordained timing for me to read. I have this scripture framed on the wall in my bathroom, and I usually pass by it, but this morning I stopped, read it, and soaked in it's words. Reading it made me think that God is ALL these things described as what love is. And here I am reading it again. Thank you for sharing.
I added your blog to the list of Tea Ladies – women who join us for Tea on Tuesdays to share their faith. The "Tea Ladies" are listed under the Tea on Tuesday's page.
Hope to meet you in the Tea Room again next week!
