The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and
I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”
Psalm 23:1-6 (ESV)
READ IT AGAIN and see that:
He makes me
He leads me
He restores me
He leads me
He comforts me
He restores me
He is with me
He provides for me
He prepares me
He anoints me
He holds me
Isn’t it wonderful that HE who made the heavens and the earth
cares deeply for you and I?
I cannot sometimes believe this yet I know it to be true.
How could I ever doubt that HE LOVES ME?
So my question is:
How do you feel about His love for you?
His love is deep and wide and always.
I pray this will be an encouragement for you today.

What a beautiful, peaceful blog!!! I love it here. Just popped by to thank you for your comment on my post over at Gina's Keepin' It Real blog. That post is an excerpt from my Bible study, From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest: Creating a Godly Legacy.
It details a real-life experience that was a huge lesson for me. I'm praying it will speak into the life of another.
God bless you.
It's an incredible sort of love, isn't it?
What a beautiful post! Just last week, I read Psalm 23 in the New Living Translation and wrote about God's loving character. I love how different translations give us more insight into God's character and how much He truly loves us!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
God bless,
Laura
I feel that God wraps me in His love! Yes it is truly amazing that the Creator of the Universe finds the time to count the hair on our head, and even the tears we shed! Patsy from

I'm encouraged by the emphasis on "He" doing it. I so need God to do whatever in my life. I am so grateful I do not need to restore myself~because I cannot!
Blessings,
Janis
