Praying for the drought and the many cities affected by the scorching heat… the only thing that refreshes is the HEALING RAIN.
Oh Lord may we all rejoice in the washing of the water… sometimes we are annoyed by it but most times it is refreshing. Have mercy on us Lord and bring the rain.

I LOVE this song, and how timing is your post…we had rain on and off all day today and we praised God for it!
Oh yes, His healing rain. We went through a horrible drought and heat last year, the plants still haven't recovered, but more than the physical we need the spiritual healing rain.
Yes, we are praying for those affected by the drought. We were with dear family in Kansas just a few weeks ago and it broke my heart to see them watch the skies and hold their breaths for rain! They had just planted their corn and soybeans – their livelihood, what they depend on. I almost felt 'guilty' that we have so much rain here in Oregon and can't share it with them. My heart is there with them and they are in our prayers often!
