I have always loved this song.
In the big picture the only one we can totally rely on is God.
He is faithful and loving.
I praise him and I pray you can too.
Life is hard and we really need to cling to the one who can hold us and keep us safe.

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. ====================
Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."
Courage is not the absence of fear but it's taking action in the midst of it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It's your heart, not the dictionary that gives meaning to your words. Matthew 12:34 (msg) version.

Oh, my. This is one of my favorite songs. I first heard it in the stretch of about '75. Loved it then; love it now. I hadn't every known that Gaither had done it and the Guy was the singer. Oh, my, [again]. I so rejoiced.
AND 2-1/2 years ago when my Mom died in Tacoma, at the funeral service, my sister, Niki, who lives in Clatskanie, sang this song, played the guitar, and a daughter sang with her. I wasn't there, b/c I couldn't get to the NW, but heard it on a phone and have the cd of it. And that song just hit me then; Niki and I somehow knew that this was one of Mom's songs that had touched her. SO, you just grabbed me. Considering we visited for 1/2 hour or so when I was to meet Elise and you, this connection for us draws us closer and closer.
Thank you so very much. I can't NOT listen to it again.
Bless you…
Sorry, but I decided to look the song up and find out who had sung it clear back when I first heard it. Kris Kristofferson was the 1st main one. BUT Johnny Cash and Elvis and George Jones. Means that hearts were touched by many and shared with MANY.
You really touched me, too. Bless you.
Yep, you said it well, my friend. Life is hard, but our Savior is gentle, powerful, and always present.
Especially in times of trouble …
Love that song also..so many memories playing in my head now!
