The beauty of fall
in the stillness of the day
we slow down to listen
as geese fly over us
calling to each other.
We slow down to listen
to the quiet
and we watch
as trees lose their leaves
letting go of the old
to prepare
for the new
Our hearts reflect on and remember
to remain thankful
in this month of thanksgiving.
It is not just a season
but a lifetime decision.
To give thanks with a grateful heart
for we
are so blessed
and so abundantly rich.
We thank you God for giving us so much
may we never forget
where our blessings and bounty comes from.
